The marker poles we created are supposed to have a sign attached. So we took one of the smaller pieces and started to saw thin boards. Here is the small log:

The long rails could not be used this time so we took the clamps and pressing them firmly against the sides of the short log we had a pretty good rail system for the first cut.

Here are the poles and the first attempt at a sign.

The first board was too thick so we lowered the Alaskan Mark III to the lowest size and tried again.
